Located in Bishop, Ca, (SMC) was founded in 1996, by Robert “SP” Parker, in collaboration with Todd Vogel. SMC offers a comprehensive range of guiding services, including alpine climbing, backpacking, rock climbing, mule-supported trips, women’s trips, and mountaineering courses. They are the only locally-based AMGA-accredited guide service in the Eastern Sierra Nevada, emphasizing safety and professionalism.

Located in Bishop, CA, SMI was founded by legend Kurt Wedberg. SMI specializes in mountaineering guiding and instruction year-round in the Sierra Nevada. They also lead expeditions to high peaks on all seven continents, offering guided climbing tours, technical training, and mountaineering skills seminars.

Located in Lone Pine, SWS was founded by Timothy Keating in 1981. They operate primarily in California, including Mount Shasta, the Sierra Nevada, and Bear Valley.
